Training Your Officers
A well-equiped ship is still only as useful as the people running it. Training your officers in the intricacies of running a ship is expensive, but greatly increases the efficiency and capability of the ship they are assigned to.

To train your officers, send the ship that they serve on to one of the TechCenters and buy them a few hours of training. There is a maximum of 50 hours of training of each type you can purchase for a ship, and when the officers are fully trained, their skills will be at the highest possible level.

Since prices fluctuate based on the Kentaran Galaxy economy, it would be wise to shop around before settling on where to purchase training. To view information on the TechCenters and the training offered, click on TechCenters in the menu on the left. Here, you can determine which TechCenters have the best prices for training.

Note that while this information is current, by the time you arrive the prices may have been raised or lowered, based on supply and demand. Treat this information as an estimate, rather than the exact cost.
