Piracy Risks
Besides the risks that other pirates pose to your own shipping endeavors, embracing the pirate life yourself comes with its own set of risks. Should your pirate ship, or mercenary pirates that you hired, be identified attacking a rival company's cargo ship, your Legal Standing will be lowered. If you are caught again, your Legal Standing will be lowered further, until eventually it may reach a point where you will be imprisoned and your company will be dissolved.

Remember, while the life of less-than-legal business practices can be lucrative, it poses much higher risks than a slower and quieter legal business.
